The Nut 
This is one of my favourites, not just because of our beautiful Tasmanian landscape, but the memories attached to it. 
Shortlisted in the Australian Photography Awards in 2020, I take this milestone  of knowing the importance of the journey and not always the destination. Often we search for that feeling once we reach that milestone, and feel disappointed that we don't feel a certain way when we reach it.
 
The day we visited the nut, it was rainy, miserable and ridiculously cold, instead of shying away from the moody, gloom that we faced. Standing tall, the nut proves that we can withstand and weather the storms that we are served.
